Overview

The Ansible DevOps Engineer at Brooksource will play a vital role in enhancing our automation and configuration management practices. You will collaborate closely with development teams to design, implement, and manage infrastructure solutions that leverage Ansible as a central component. Your responsibilities will include automating workflows, improving deployment efficiency, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of DevOps methodologies and tools, along with strong problem-solving skills to address infrastructure challenges effectively.



Job Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage infrastructure automation solutions using Ansible.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor and optimize existing automation scripts and configuration deployments.
  • Provide technical support and lead troubleshooting efforts for infrastructure issues.
  • Document infrastructure architecture, processes, and procedures clearly and concisely.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in all automation efforts.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role specifically focused on automation.
  • Strong proficiency in Ansible and experience with configuration management tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
