Job Overview

The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Continuous Improvement at SGS & Co. will be responsible for leading and implementing strategies that enhance operational efficiencies across the organization. This role demands a visionary leader who can drive a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring alignment with the company’s overarching objectives. The SVP will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, oversee the integration of process improvement methodologies, and optimize resource allocation to elevate productivity and quality standards. This position plays a crucial role in fostering an innovative mindset and leveraging data-driven approaches to achieve significant business outcomes.



Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy to elevate operational performance.
  • Lead and mentor teams in Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of current processes and implement process enhancements to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to set improvement goals and align them with business objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance and identify areas for further enhancement.
  • Establish and promote best practices for quality management and operational excellence across all departments.
  • Manage budgetary allocations for continuous improvement initiatives and ensure effective resource utilization.


Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in continuous improvement, operations management, or a related area, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence organizational change and improve business performance.
