Job Overview
The Physical Therapist - Pelvic Health at American Specialty Health will be responsible for providing specialized care and rehabilitation services for patients experiencing pelvic health issues. This role will involve the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various pelvic conditions, as well as the development of individualized treatment plans. The Physical Therapist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and will actively participate in patient education programs to promote pelvic health awareness.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' pelvic health conditions using clinical evaluation techniques.
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
- Utilize evidence-based practices in the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Stay current with advancements in pelvic health therapy through continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Specialization or certification in pelvic health physical therapy preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy, with a focus on pelvic health services considered an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Proficient understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to pelvic health.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
