Job Overview

The Azure Cloud Engineer at American Recruiting & Consulting Group is responsible for designing, deploying, and managing our cloud-based systems and services within the Microsoft Azure platform. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement cloud architectures, and ensure optimal system performance, security, and reliability. The engineer will also lead troubleshooting efforts and provide technical support to ensure seamless cloud functionalities across the organization.



Job Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and recommend suitable Azure services.
  • Develop automation scripts to streamline deployment processes and resource management.
  • Perform regular security assessments and establish best practices for data protection and compliance.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues.
  • Document cloud architectures, processes, and workflows for future reference.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing to recommend improvements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud engineering or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or BASH.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices for managing cloud deployments.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and cloud security best practices.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
