Job Overview

PriceSenz is seeking a skilled and dedicated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for enhancing the development and operational processes through automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery. You will collaborate closely with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of applications and systems. Your expertise in DevOps practices will be instrumental in driving improvements that promote efficiency and quality in our software delivery lifecycle.



Job Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development process.
  • Monitor the performance of applications and infrastructure to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
  • Automate deployment processes, facilitating rapid release cycles and improved efficiency.
  • Collaborate with development and IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and deployments.
  • Design and maintain cloud-based systems, ensuring scalability and security.
  • Document processes, workflows, and configurations to maintain clarity and compliance.
  • Research and implement new technologies to improve system performance and delivery.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar positions.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
  • Extensive experience with cloud services, particularly AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Solid understanding of containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Technologies & Tools

In this position, you will work with a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to: AWS for cloud services, Jenkins for automation, Docker for containerization, Kubernetes for orchestration, Git for version control, and Ansible for configuration management. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana will also be beneficial, as will experience with database management systems like MySQL or MongoDB.
