Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Machine Learning Engineer/SRE to join our innovative team in a fully remote capacity. This role entails leveraging machine learning algorithms and data analytics to design, develop, and maintain robust ML systems while ensuring high availability and performance. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in automating workflows, monitoring system health, and implementing best practices in machine learning operations. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of machine learning models.



Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop machine learning models and algorithms for various applications.
  • Implement continuous integration and deployment practices for machine learning models.
  • Monitor system performance and reliability, addressing issues promptly to ensure service quality.
  • Collaborate with teams to refine and optimize existing ML models and workflows.
  • Create and maintain documentation for machine learning processes, infrastructure, and tools.
  • Automate data pipelines to enhance data collection and processing efficiency.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of machine learning workflows.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role with a strong emphasis on SRE.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Java; familiarity with libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Experience in using cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for deploying machine learning models.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of statistical modeling, data mining, and machine learning algorithms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
