Job Overview


The Jr. Talent Acquisition Specialist at New American Funding will play a pivotal role in supporting the recruitment initiatives of the organization. This position entails working alongside senior recruiters to identify, attract, and onboard top talent across various departments. The ideal candidate will assist in the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to candidate screening, ensuring a seamless hiring process that aligns with the company's strategic objectives.



Job Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment team in the development and execution of sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Assist in creating and posting job descriptions on various job boards and social media platforms.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify potential candidates that meet job qualifications.
  • Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidates' skills and fit for the position.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process to provide feedback and updates.
  • Manage applicant tracking system (ATS) data integrity by updating candidate statuses and notes.
  • Collect and analyze recruitment metrics to support process improvement initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and techniques, particularly for high-volume hiring.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with ATS software is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
