Overview

The Remote Help Desk Support Consultant at Vinsys Information Technology Inc. is entrusted with providing exceptional technical support and assistance to our clients, ensuring swift resolution of their IT issues while maintaining high standards of customer service. This position requires a deep understanding of various technologies and the ability to troubleshoot complex problems efficiently. The consultant will work remotely, leveraging their skills to diagnose and resolve hardware and software-related issues, respond to customer inquiries, and ensure that all assignments are completed timely and accurately.



Job Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support to clients via phone, email, or chat regarding technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems in a timely manner.
  • Document all interactions with users in the ticketing system, ensuring escalation where necessary.
  • Identify recurring issues and propose system improvement strategies.
  • Assist with the installation and configuration of computer hardware and software.
  • Train clients on software applications and best practices for issue prevention.
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends to offer informed support.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Help Desk Support Consultant or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Windows/Mac operating systems, networks, and hardware.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on customer service.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and ticketing systems.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL, Microsoft Certified) are advantageous.
