Job Description: Technology Assistant - Remote | WFH
The Technology Assistant at Get It Recruit - Educational Services plays a vital role in providing technical support and assistance to both staff and students in a remote environment. This position is responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining educational technologies, and ensuring that all technological resources function effectively to enhance learning. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while supporting the technology needs of the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to staff and students in using educational technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of virtual learning tools and platforms.
- Prepare and deliver training sessions on technology usage and best practices.
- Document technical issues and solutions for internal reference.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement new technologies and software upgrades.
- Monitor and maintain technology inventory and assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Education Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with virtual learning environments and educational technologies such as LMS platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Certifications in relevant technology areas (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft) are a plus.

Technologies & Tools
