Job Overview

As a DevOps Engineer at Team Remotely Inc., you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency of our development and operational processes. You will be responsible for implementing and managing continuous integration/delivery pipelines, ensuring deployment reliability, and optimizing system performance. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with software engineers and IT teams to foster a culture of innovation, reliability, and efficiency while managing cloud infrastructure and automating routine tasks.



Job Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for various applications.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and streamline processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize applications for reliability and scalability.
  • Manage cloud infrastructures, ensuring secure and effective utilization of resources.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for DevOps methodologies and processes.
  • Conduct performance testing and capacity planning for various systems.
  • Participate in incident management and post-mortem activities to improve systems.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar capacity.
  • Proficient in using container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong scripting skills with languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments and system administration.
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
