DevOps Engineer at LoanCare


The DevOps Engineer at LoanCare will play a vital role in enhancing the efficiency and automation of our software development and operations processes. This position involves collaboration with various teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud services, and ensure infrastructure scalability and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in DevOps practices, emphasize continuous improvement, and drive operational excellence while ensuring security compliance and best practices are maintained throughout all systems and applications.



Job Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous integration and deployment.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot application performance using various APM tools.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of software systems.
  • Automate operational processes using scripting and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
  • Manage cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and uptime.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting systems for infrastructure health and performance.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of processes, systems, and configurations.
  • Participate in incident management and post-mortem analysis to drive continuous improvement.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar position.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on teamwork.

Technologies & Tools


The DevOps Engineer will work with a range of technologies and tools including but not limited to: AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Terraform, and monitoring solutions such as Prometheus and Grafana. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems is also essential for successfully executing tasks associated with this role.
